The Townsend Hotel Names New Front Office ManagerNEWS RELEASE BIRMINGHAM, Mich., September 24, 2007 - Michel Ayoub has joined The Townsend Hotel staff as front office manager. Ayoub is responsible for attending to the requests and needs of The Townsend's guests, who include world travelers, entertainers, professional athletes and business leaders. "Hospitality is a characteristic that comes naturally to Michel. He's is driven to go above and beyond what is expected of him to make the guests' experience everything we could hope it would be," said Managing Director Peter Wilde. A native of Lebanon, Ayoub came to the United States 13 years ago to study hospitality business. Prior to arriving at the Townsend, Ayoub worked at the Sheraton Hotel in the Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut for 12 years. He started as an intern during his undergraduate studies and was promoted to front office director. Ayoub has his bachelor's degree in business marketing from Lebanese American University and a master's degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of New Haven. He currently lives in Sterling Heights with his wife and two children.
