Michel AyoubFront Office ManagerMichel Ayoub is the front office manager at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Mich. In his position, Ayoub is responsible for providing the Townsend’s discerning travelers with an exceptional experience upon their arrival and departure from the hotel. Hailing from Lebanon, Ayoub came to the United States 13 years ago to study hospitality – a skill that according to Ayoub, is innate and cannot be taught. Prior to arriving at The Townsend, Ayoub worked at the Sheraton Hotel in the Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut for 12 years. He started as an intern during his undergraduate studies and quickly worked his way up to front office director, making him second in line for seniority when he left. During his time at the Sheridan, Ayoub became a well-respected part of the staff, and was known for going above and beyond the call of duty to make a perfect guest experience. The fast-paced environment of an airport hotel trained Ayoub to quickly and efficiently accommodate the needs of many guests and also refine his hospitality skills to meet the high expectations of the Townsend’s staff. Ayoub has his bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Lebanese American University and a master’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of New Haven. He currently lives in Sterling Heights with his wife and two young children. He enjoys his time at the hotel and spending time with his family.
