Peter Wilde

Prior to his appointment as managing director of The Townsend, Wilde gained his extensive experience throughout the United States in such markets as Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Greenwich, Conn. He provided direction and leadership as the West Coast's director of operations for Noble House Hotels and Resorts. He also served as the general manager for the All Nippon Airlines hotel in San Francisco. Earlier in his career, Wilde was appointed assistant vice president of human resources of the Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, as well as the director of Hyatt's Re-Engineering Project.

Although, Wilde manages a hectic schedule he finds work-life balance as an avid runner. After completing the Chicago Marathon in October 2002, Wilde was named Crain's Detroit 50 fittest CEO's in May 2003.

Today, Wilde is Chairman of the Board for the Birmingham, Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce. He has also serves as guest speaker at The Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians Government "Excellence, Culture and Training" seminar. Today Wilde is a member of the Board of Directors of the Detroit Regional Chamber.

Wilde is a graduate of Western Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
