Record Number of Preferred Hotel Group Members Receive Accolades from Respected Travel and Golf Publications

Condé Nast Traveler's "Readers' Choice Awards", Travel + Leisure's "2006 World's Best Business Hotels" and Golf Digest's Annual "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America"
CHICAGO - December 07, 2006 - Preferred Hotel Group congratulates
its largest group of members ever to garner some of the travel
industry's most prestigious accolades. A record number of Preferred
Hotel Group properties have been awarded high honors from three of
the most respected US-based consumer publications, Conde Nast
Traveler, Travel + Leisure and Golf Digest.

Condé Nast Traveler's "Readers' Choice Awards"
The rankings, determined by the publication's well-traveled and
business-savvy readership, is a compilation of 21,000 responses
evaluating 3,120 properties, destinations, airlines, cruise lines,
and car rental agencies across the globe. The Readers' Choice Awards
are derived from the largest independent poll of travel consumers,
second in size only to the U.S. Census.

Travel + Leisure's "2006 World's Best Business Hotels"
The rankings were established by the readers of Travel +
Leisure, whose votes determined 2006's list of the top business
hotels in 103 cities around the world. The criteria the hotels were
evaluated on included: concierge services, Wi-Fi, quality of
restaurants, and special amenities. Preferred Hotel Group's The
Peninsula (Chicago, IL, USA) and The Imperial (New Delhi, India),
both placed in the Top Ten Business Hotels Overall.

Golf Digest's Annual "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America"
On the heels of launching Preferred Golf, Preferred Hotel Group
congratulates the five members that have been included in Golf
Digest's ranking of "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America." More
than 800 low-handicap golfers evaluated the resorts on criteria,
which highlights 33 superb golf resorts among its membership, such
as quality of lodging, dining and golf. The list includes
destinations located in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the
Caribbean. Preferred Hotel Group's Sea Island Resort in Sea Island,
GA finished first in the biennial ranking.
