Zip in to Downtown Birmingham on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., for the BRRmingham Blast event featuring free entertainment, food trucks and activities for all ages! The event takes place in the heart of Downtown Birmingham, along South Old Woodward Avenue from Maple Road to Brown Street.
- Zip Line: Thrill seekers of all ages are invited to ride the 300-foot-long zip line free of charge during the event. Participants must weigh a minimum of 40lbs. and a maximum of 225lbs. and be at least 6 years of age to ride the zip line. *Please note: The line for this attraction will close at 5 p.m. to accomodate all riders before the end of the event.*
- Food Trucks: A delicious variety of food trucks will be serving up savory favorites and warm sweets for purchase.
- Warming Tent and Entertainment: Warm up with family-friendly entertainment including a magic show (at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.) and story time courtesy of the Baldwin Public Library (at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.).
- Marshmallow Roasting: Gather around the fires for free marshmallow roasting all day.
- Retail Sales: Downtown Birmingham’s many local and national retailers will be open during the event, so be sure to schedule some time to shop post-holiday sales and new 2025 merchandise!
Step into the enchanting world of Wicked for an unforgettable afternoon inspired by the untold stories of Elphaba and Glinda. Perfect for adults and children alike! This event is a must for fans of Oz and all things whimsical.

Returning to Downtown Royal Oak in 2025! Winter Blast Royal Oak presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is a free admission community event that will take place January 31st - February 2nd, 2025 in and around Centennial Commons and the Royal Oak City Center.
